Our Story
I would like to introduce our specialty coffee Cafe Bogue that my wife and I import directly from Panama. If the name sounds familiar, it is because you probably knew my father Gary Bogue the wildlife and animal columnist that wrote for the Contra Costa Times for over 40 years. I was born and raised in Walnut Creek, California where I have a multitude of memories from a wonderful community.
Work and marriage took me to live in Panama for over 20 years where I learned about coffee, given my wife’s family has been in the coffee business for generations.
Now I have returned to my home town and we are so happy to share with you some of the finest coffee the world has to offer. We travel back and forth to Panama to work directly with the local coffee farms so we can bring to you this wonderful tasting coffee that I have enjoyed drinking for over 30 years of my marriage.
Our coffee is 100% organic and grown pesticide free. It is hand-picked, washed, sun-dried, and custom roasted directly at the coffee farms in Panama. Then it is quickly packaged and flown by air to San Francisco.
We are very grateful for all your support and excited to be able to share with our neighbors.
A great coffee speaks for itself and this is our voice!
